The Waigaoqiao Power Station is a large coal power plant in Shanghai, China. It shares the title of the second largest coal power station in the world, and the largest thermal power station in China, with the Guodian Beilun Power Station, at an installed capacity of 5,000 MW. The power stations produces up to 11.4 TWh of energy annually. It is owned by China Power Investment, a local power company.
